2015 #JiffyONJackpot Contest Rules
The 2015 #JiffyONJackpot Contest commences on April 20, 2015 and ends on December 31, 2015.
HOW TO ENTER: To participate in a particular challenge or answer a skill-testing question, go online to https://twitter.com/jiffylubeon. When Jiffy Lube Ontario releases (usually through tweets), a challenge or skill-testing question, be the first to answer by tweeting at @JiffyLubeON with your answer or entry. One entry or answer per individual. You must respond to Jiffy Lube Ontario’s original tweet (challenge or skill-testing) question with the hashtag #JiffyONJackpot to qualify.
CONTEST PRIZES: The first person to respond (by sending a tweet to @JiffyLubeON) with the correct answer or an entry to one challenge will win the prize. Winners will be contacted via Twitter. As a condition of receiving the prize, the winner must sign the ‘Declaration and Release’ form, which will be sent by e-mail, accepting the prize as awarded and consenting to the use of his or her real name or Twitter handle and Twitter profile photo to be used, without compensation, in any future publicity carried out by Jiffy Lube Ontario. If the winner doesn’t reply to our attempts at contact through Twitter within 3 days, or fails to complete and return the required contest documents within 14 days after the document is sent, they will forfeit the prize.
ACTUAL RETAIL VALUE: Prize consists of a no-cost voucher provided by Jiffy Lube Ontario for a free oil change at any participating Jiffy Lube Ontario location and an AIR MILES Bonus Card Prize. Every AIR MILES Bonus Card carries a prize of 100 AIR MILES reward miles. How to claim your AIR MILES Bonus Card Prize: In order to claim your prize, visit www.loebbonuscard.ca, enter your AIR MILES Collector Number, AIR MILES Bonus Card Number, and follow the instructions to deposit the reward miles from your AIR MILES Bonus Card into your Collector Account. A total of 30 AIR MILES Bonus Cards worth 100 reward miles are available to be won during the contest period. A total of 30 oil change vouchers are available to win during the contest period.
Jiffy Lube Ontario (QLO Management Inc. and JL Management Group), at its discretion, may substitute any Prize for equal or greater value. The Prize cannot be combined with other offers for same service.
This Contest is open only to Canadian resident AIR MILES Collectors who are at least 16 years of age as of April 20, 2015 except employees, representatives and agents of the Contest Sponsor, its affiliates and their respective advertising and marketing agencies, contest administrators, judges and persons domiciled with any of the above. The Collector is the individual in whose name the Collector Account has been established or, in the case of a Business Collector, the principal associated with the Business Collector Account, as determined by the Contest Sponsor. Canadian residence will be determined by the mailing address associated with the Collector Account. If you are not already an AIR MILES Collector, you may become one by enrolling online at www.airmiles.ca.
The approximate retail value of AIR MILES reward miles depends on the chosen method of redemption, available reward options at the time of redemption, and the set preference between AIR MILES Cash and AIR MILES Dream balances. If redeemed with AIR MILES Cash, 95 reward miles can be redeemed in-store for $10 towards purchases at participating AIR MILES Sponsors or 95 reward miles can be redeemed online for eVouchers for $10 worth of value at participating Reward Partners. If redeemed for flights (1,200 reward mile minimum required for flight redemption), value depends on destination chosen, date of travel and use of multiple carriers or suppliers. For example, one return economy flight from Toronto, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba is 2,000 AIR MILES reward miles and has an approximate value of $525.00 (Canadian) excluding taxes. Winner must pay applicable taxes, related transportation fees, governmental levies, excess baggage and other non-ticket costs. The value of AIR MILES reward miles redeemed for non-flight reward options depends on reward options in effect at the time of redemption. AIR MILES reward miles are subject to the terms and conditions of the AIR MILES Reward Program as amended from time to time. AIR MILES reward miles prize is not transferable or convertible to cash and must be accepted as awarded.
If any potential winner is under the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence, a parent or legal guardian of the potential winner will be required to sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where it is required) on behalf of their minor child and any Prize will be deposited into the Collector Account of the minor. If the parent or legal guardian of the potential Prize winner does not sign or submit the Prize Acknowledgement and Release Form (where required), the potential Prize winner will not be awarded the Prize.
To ensure that winners receive their Prize in their preferred balance, each winner should ensure his/her balance preferences (AIR MILES® Cash balance and AIR MILES® Dream balance) are set as desired prior to the Prize being posted in his/her Collector Account.

If a potential winner of AIR MILES reward miles is not an AIR MILES Collector, he/she may enroll in the AIR MILES Reward Program by visiting airmiles.ca. Jiffy Lube Ontario will contact the winner by responding to the winner’s original tweet (entry or answer) through the “@reply” function on the Twitter platform. In this response, Jiffy Lube Ontario will ask the winner to email contest@jiffylubeontario.com and provide their full name, phone number and mailing address. The winner will have 3 days from the time Jiffy Lube Ontario contacts them on Twitter to send an email to contests@jiffylubeontario.com. Once a Jiffy Lube Ontario representative receives an email from the winner, they will contact the winner via phone or email to coordinate delivery and receipt of the prize.
You will earn one entry into the Contest for each Tweet, provided the Tweet and entrant comply with these Official Contest Rules. Limit of one (1) qualifying Tweet per person. The use of multiple Twitter accounts is prohibited. Any attempt by any person to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple identities or Twitter accounts or any other methods may void all of that person’s entries and that person may be disqualified.
The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter. Twitter is completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Contest Sponsor and not Twitter.
All entries must comply with the Twitter Rules and all Twitter policies, terms of service and guidelines (“Twitter Requirements”). At any time during the Contest, if the Contest Sponsor suspects that that any Tweet or entrant does not comply with these Official Contest Rules (including the twitter Requirements), the Contest Sponsor may report a violation to Twitter and/or disqualify the entry and/or entrant, in which case the entry and/or entrant will not be eligible to win a prize, even if the content has previously been posted.
Entries/Tweets MUST NOT include: a) anything that violates any law; b) anything that may give rise to any claims of invasion of privacy or publicity, or infringe on any rights and/or interests of any third party, or give rise to any claims whatsoever; and c) defamatory, libelous, pornographic or obscene statements, and must not contain, depict, include, discuss or involve, without limitation, any of the following: nudity; alcohol/drug consumption or smoking; crude, vulgar or offensive language and/or symbols; derogatory characterizations of any ethnic, racial, sexual, religious or other groups (including, without limitation, the Contest Sponsor or any of its competitors); content that endorses, condones and/or discusses any illegal, inappropriate or risky behavior or conduct; personal information of individuals, including, without limitation, names, telephone numbers and addresses (physical or electronic); conduct or other activities in violation of these Official Contest Rules; and/or any other content that is or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, all as determined by the Contest Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion.
ONLINE ACCESS: An email account and Twitter account are required in order to participate in this Contest. Many public libraries, retail businesses and others offer free access to computers and a number of Internet service providers and other companies offer free email accounts. If you do not already have a Twitter account, you can obtain one for free at www.twitter.com.
PRIVACY: Jiffy Lube Ontario will not share entrant information provided on entry forms or via email with third parties except as needed to run the contest, promote the results of the contest, and any future marketing communications.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is open to all residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority – excluding employees, families or affiliates (or those with whom they are domiciled) of Jiffy Lube Ontario.
By entering, entrants release and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jiffy Lube Ontario and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, dealers and marketing and promotional agencies from any and all damages, injuries, claims, causes of actions, or losses of any kind (including actual legal fees and expenses) (whether under legal theories of contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, operation of law or otherwise) resulting from participation in the contest.
GENERAL: This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. By entering the contest, entrants agree to be bound by these rules and by the decisions of the contest judges, which shall be final on all matters relating to this contest. All entries become the property of Jiffy Lube Ontario and none will be returned. Jiffy Lube Ontario reserves the right to withdraw, terminate or modify this contest or any portion of this contest, or extend the deadline or draw date of this contest, at any time without prior notice.
